Meet Our Team

Jim Heidemann - President/Field Sales Engineer

Jim received his Bachelors of Mechanical Engineering from the University of Cincinnati,
and received his MBA from Xavier University. Jim began his career at GE Aircraft
Engines where he worked in manufacturing, engineer overhaul and then into international

spare parts sales. He also worked in equipment sales at Cincinnati Incorporated before

joining Major Equipment Company.
Jim is a family man, he and his wife have been married since 1987 and have raised
three successful daughters in the engineering and medical world. He is a proud
grandfather to his grandchildren and is a well-versed handy man. He enjoys history and
classic cars, specifically the few he has restored in his free time.

Michelle Heidemann - Field Sales Engineer

Michelle received her Bachelors of Mechanical Engineering from The University of
Dayton with a minor in BioEngineering. She gained experience in research and design
in the world of adhesives as well as field experience in distilling and beverage design
during that time. After graduating, she began her career in engineering design and
consulting, working for Jacobs Engineering and BSI Engineering on Consumer Food &
Beverage, Pharmaceutical and Industrial projects locally as well as internationally. She
joined Major Equipment in 2021 and provides technical and on site support as
needed for her customers.
On a personal note, Michelle loves to travel, being active via exercising and playing
pickleball and enjoys trying local restaurants and coffee shops when visiting a new spot.

Vicki Martin - Accounting / Inside Sales

Vicki received her degree from the International Business College and has been
working in an office manager/bookkeeper role for over 30 years. She has been with
Major Equipment since 2010 as the Office Manager/bookkeeper covering inside
sales, order management and control as well as all bookkeeping processes. She is well
versed in software such as QBDT, BrokerForce and Microsoft suite.
Vicki lives in Sunman, Indiana with her husband and two sons. She enjoys Cincinnati
Sports and spending quality time with her family.

equipment principals and customers.

History

Major Equipment Company was established in 1980 specializing in engineered fluid handling equipment. Jim has been owner since 2008.

We support our customers in Food, Beverage and Dairy, Industrial, Chemical, Paper, Automotive, Pharmaceutical
and Primary Metals industries. Our experience in different industries and backgrounds allows us the

opportunity to ensure proper installation and customer satisfaction with our equipment.

We offer a variety of equipment for liquids, liquids and liquids, as well as
liquids and solids/powders, from pumping, heating, cooling, filtering, mixing, agitating and storing.

Major Equipment Company is happy to work with the ‘end user’, OEMs, and consulting engineering firms.
